In the earliest times of Yosemite and Hetch Hetchy Paiutes used to climb all over the rocks and mountains. There is newspaper accounts of the miraculous rock climbing skills of Yosemite Paiutes, even as young as tiny children, as they scaled the rocks trying to escape the Mariposa Battalion led by James Savage. The Battalion was amazed by the agility of the Indians as the climbs the rocks in Yosemite. Thanks for posting the photos.

Awesome pics Azure. Looks real fun. Matt and I have never set foot climbing in California yet but Yosemite is definitely on top of the list. I think if you are serious about trad leading, taking AR would be a good one next year. You'll have more confident at the end of it. Have a great summer!
